This IPL generation will not understand what dada meant to us.. Cricket was over in 90s.. Full of match fixers.. We hardly use to win anything.. Overdependent on sachin.. Things changed after 2000 Champions trophy.. We became team again.. Dada was bit unlucky as a captain.. Drop catches in 2000 Champions trophy & 2004 Sydney tests n rain in 2002 champions trophy final.. Dada came close to becoming most successful captain of India.. But still gave us gems like yuvi viru bhajji Zak nehraji dhoni etc.. Comeback story of dada in 2006 is bollywood blockbuster level story

Initially Greg Chappell was right to some extent,he suggested sourav ganguly to take a break,cleared his mind from cluttered thoughts,and improve some of his skills and return back strongly,but then ganguly was the captain and such suggestion that too from a coach irked him,it hurt his ego,I don't about other cricket playing nations but in India especially in that era coach generally refrain themselves from selection matter,they usually abstain themselves from selecting like who shall play or who shouldn't play,but sourav ganguly could have smartly deal with this,he shouldn't have disclose in the press conference that he was advised by coach to take temporary break from the team,he could have kept to himself, improved his performance and then replied Greg with his batting

Rahul Dravid unnecessary fas gaya is mess mein...In his captaincy we won test series in west Indies And in England for the first time. After the defeat with Pakistan on home soil we defeated the then numner 2 srilanka team 6-1 . Then England 5-1 .. But his captaincy is only remembered for the wc loss and controversy. He hasbeen an excellent captain .We had our Golden period in 2005-2007.

But the captain became a yesman of the coach and never took a stand.

If you really want to make an unfiltered one on Sourav Ganguly do one on what turmoil Indian Cricket was in after the fixing scandal with Azharuddin and how Sourav Ganguly took over from him and laid the foundation of Indian Cricket from there. But I'm 99% sure you'll not do that because what you guys are after are views from creating unnecessary controversies and gaining some hypothetical happiness from downplaying that great man. You also praise foreign players who play well and talented, this is the symbol of a true cricket expert. But there are such ignorant people in our country who abuse those who praise good players of other countries specially pakistan. We all know pakistan has terrorist but according to the cricket if pakistan has good talented player than a true journalist definitely praise him..Everyone makes a few mistakes and wrong predictions, but people start trolling about this, which is wrong. Bro Virat is GOAT. No doubt about that. But he was an average captain in limited overs format. He himself announced that he wont be the captain of the team after 2021 t20 wc and around that time he also left the captaincy of RCB. The message which came from Virat regarding his resignation, in that message he wrote that he will still continue to captain team in ODI and Test. At that time feud started because Kohli is no one to decide who should and who should not be the captain, he can give his oppinion ( like he gave to remove Rohit from vice captaincy and hand it over to Pant in ODI.) But it did not go well with Sourav Ganguly and board members because they are the office bearers, they will decide. Suppose we lost 2021 t20 wc ( eventually we were out in group stage) then BCCI will appoint new captain for both ODI and T20. But Virat wanted to secure his ODI captaincy. Then BCCI came and announced that we wont have different captain for ODI and T20. Rohit was appointed India's captain. It did not go well with Virat and he in ego decided to leave test captaincy as well. And after that verbal war happend with huge misunderstanding
