As a Norwegian I can't believe how good he is ! I know how his childhood was growing up in my neighborhood. It's hard to practice golf in my country! But his ambitions always been there, now we can just sit back and watch him play amazing golf.

He learned golf in Oklahoma.

@@TheTerryEHe didnt learn how to play golf in Oklahoma, he knew that before he moved there, but of course he developed and became better there. He was actually one of Norways most prominent juniors and he was discovered by a scout from Oklahoma University in a tounrnament he played for Norway in Scotland when he was 15. it was because he was talented he got a scholarship at Oklahoma state University a couple of years later. Typical Americans to try to take the credit, LOL 😉 (just kidding)

@@In_my_own_mind He became a real golfer in Oklahoma. That's why he went there. There was no way to advance in Norway. That's a fact. Oh, and btw, I'm not an American. So bite me.

@@TheTerryE He went there because he got offered a scholarship from his talent in golf. Coach Alan Bratton went to Norway looking for talent and was after Kristoffer Ventura, and got the look for Viktor aswell. Both went

@@TheTerryE He was a promising Norwegian junior long before Oklahoma. His name was already mentioned many times here before he moved to the US. Btw, I'm impressed by his American accent, sometimes you wonder if he really is Norwegian. 😃

Viktor Hovland is one of the classiest guys on the PGA Tour! It’s truly incredible how he has improved each year since he turned pro, and that was after being a superstar amateur. He’s certainly in a different category of golfer now, the type of which can win ANY golf tournament! I hope he doesn’t try to change his swing or his technical skills in order to get better, as I believe that too many players do that, and become forgotten stars. I can see Viktor becoming world No 1 in the not too distant future! The Ryder Cup is approaching and the European team is looking good for a win as Viktor, Rory and Tommy Fleetwood are all playing really well, and you know that Jon Rahm will be ready for the Ryder Cup!

It took the best back nine that I have ever seen, just to squeak out a win today. I knew that VH has that game in him, but I never thought it would show up now. This was an absolute pleasure to witness.
