Viktor Lodin | Allsvenskan + SHL Highlights | 2019-21

Viktor Lodin highlights from three different teams in two season: 2019-20 with Orebro HK (SHL) and Vita Hasten HC (Allsvenskan), 2020-21 with Timrä IK (Allsvenskan). Lodin had a breakout season with Timrä where he scored 14 goals and 40 points in 47GP, before adding another 4 goals and 9 points in 13GP in the playoffs as Timrä were crowned Allsvenskan champions and were promoted to the SHL. Lodin was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the 4th round of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, #94 overall.

I hope they don't let him walk. I just want to know what he looks like at the North American level. When he was drafted, the most interesting thing about him was that he was the first player Ottawa drafted out of Europe for years. Now his value has at least grown enough to warrant taking a look at him in the AHL

Agreed. He was a highly-touted youth player in Sweden who seems to have been rushed a bit but found his stride this past season. Classic late bloomer story that this org seems to have found lately.

Hopefully they sign before the expiry but chances are cause he hasn’t signed yet he wants to remain in Sweden

weird that Dorion singled him out in a presser 2-3 months ago when talking about Belleville next year - seemed like a weird pick at the time (still does) so i'd hope they roll the dice on him

Ottawa has to sign him within the next 48 hours or else he will become a FA. I'm guessing they will!
