Pretty fitting to Jayce in all honesty, ppl be saying all these things but the real problem you can say is he tried to please everyone in a sense without making a direct choice. (Till you know a few things happen..) Though to be fair the man is prob the most neutral in terms of what would someone do if they were suddenly thrown into all those responsibilities given Viktor didnt wanna deal with it all either so someone had too.

@@XonixDerps They're both in such a tight situation. They're both just scientists who want to change the world. But you have to deal with other people in order to do it. Jayce is constantly getting slapped around and caught up in situations despite only wanting to help people. They manipulate and want to use his inventions for their own personal gain. People hold him back and he loses trust in people. Jayce's passiveness and his good heart ended up forcing him down a path he never wanted to take. This is mirrored by Viktor who is on a ticking clock. He also wants to do exactly what Jayce wants but he just does not have the time or connections to do so. People also hold him back but he just can't. This also forces him to go down a path he never wanted to take. Both brilliantly designed characters (But I do like Viktor more, especially because of how he turns out later)

@@Real_Genji True and I can def see the viktor part later though he does in that lore go really ham in the not caring of others part (he hires the goons knowing what theyll do but only cares for his path it seems?) *talking leagues lore*. However, Arcane is changing tiny parts and larger ones and i think Jaycr an Viktor will be the biggest examples of this down the line, if i can make an assumption I feel like Vikor will still have that non connection/work matters more mantra given singed teachings and will work with the goons but the incorprate the boy story from universe (with the bullies who scared him into Viktors place only for the kid to see Viktor is quite calm rather than mad). Where as Jayce will have the bravado but more as a "show" (kind of like Allmight), its part of his persona but not really what he cares about as this Jayce DOES care for the people even if others are trying to manipulate him with stigma etc

This is what I wanted them to do with Viktor's character. He could of been a great antagonist or sympathetic villain character. Someone who is dying and becomes obsessed with trying to heal himself from his illness that is killing him. Also, since his illness was due to what he was exposed to in the undercity, he could have become a character that attempts to rally the undercity against the upper-city. So much missed opportunities with Viktor's character

The more I listen to this, the more impactful it is for me. This is a phenomenal piece, the part where you ramped up the energy at the end of the verse was insane. The truth of what you're saying hits like a gut punch, it's a brutal take on reality but it's one that's hard to deny. And I'm a huge sucker for keeping the same rhyme scheme going for multiple stanzas (are they called stanzas? I dunno), so the writing and wordplay is awesome and the delivery is what take it home. I was hesitant on this at first but seeing as this is your first (And so far) only Arcane character I knew it would have passion. It's easy to just go for Jinx or Vi since they're the face of the show and would get easy and quick views. But Viktor is underrated and a very very well done and complex character. He's one of my favorite characters, second only to Silco (would love to see a song with this, it can go anywhere with really hard bars about his mob boss life but also somber and mellow but deep bars with his fatal love for his daughter and his true desire for change and freedom). Very well done and well made packed with subtle but powerful lines; Viktor is only going to get better as a character with the path that he's leading down and if they don't mess him up he can totally be up there in one of the best fictional characters ever written. Also the visuals in this were PERFECT! There is no exaggeration, it was perfectly edited
