Omg - I was there about 18 years ago because I had a good house reef for diving - now there is NO reef and everything is dead - sad to see

I used to work there. Devastated to see the devastation of the reefs caused by climate change and unsustainable tourism. You contributed to it by adding to the toxic trash.

Wir reisen auch ins Vilamendhoo, wo sind denn die besten Schnorchel - Spots? Im Video sind in der Mitte richtig schöne Korallen zu sehen, anfangs eher weniger. Wo ist es besonders schön?

Schön. Am Anfang ist die Nordseite zu sehen - teilweise starke Strömungen und weniger Korallen dafür mehr Chancen auf Schildkröten, Barracudas und größere Fischschwärme. Die Korallen sind auf der Südseite - westlich des Versorgungsjettys richtung Sunset Bar. Bis auf den Walhai Trip, Manta Trip und das Schildkröten schnorcheln wurde alles am Hausriff gefilmt. Es war meine dritte Malediven Insel und bis jetzt mit Abstand das beste Hausriff.
