Yet people are still not measuring patients's heigh and administering Vt go 8 m/kg and more, not measuring pplato, not calculating driving pressure. I wonder what would patients and their family do if diabetologists used glucose levels of 8-10 mmol/L instead od 5-6 mol/L? It's so frustrating!

I am disappointed in the state of ventilator management proficiency in the medical profession. 'Lung protective' ventilation has existed and been discussed for more than 2 decades and we have not shown that it results in a significant improvement in outcomes. Improvement hasn't been demonstrated and it will not be because 6ccs/kg tidal volumes is not the issue holding back improvement. Vent management experts keep dancing around the calculations. 'Driving pressure', 'mechanical power', 'VILI'.
