Amazing, but for me the by far the most nauseating attraction at the Efteling.While others are laughing, I have to close my eyes or it's vomit time :)

Focus on the mirror. You know the wall in the middle. There you can see your actual movement. Just going like a swing

The seats invert as well (30%) angle too give you a feeling you're spinning yourself !

Watch the centre mirrors at each end of the room. They show the tilt angle of the seating gondola.

I also remember back in the days villa Volta would spin 3 times around in a row and much quicker. It scared the crap out me as a kid.

You are moving, but not as much as the room makes it seem. In the beginning you can either feel yourself being pushed back, or pulled forwards due to the change of gravity. You won't end up upside down, but at least you're moving a little :)

Jau, eine der besten Attraktionen die ich bis jetzt gefahren bin. Kommt in Videos niemals so rüber wie in echt. Besonders der Anfang ist toll, wenn man spürt wie sich der Schwerpunkt vom Körpergewicht verlagert, obwohl man keine Bewegung wahrnehmen kann. Schon einige Jahre her, dass ich dort war und ich bin immer noch begeistert davon.

It's the first Vekoma Madhouse in the world, in the Netherlands largest park, the Efteling. How it works is that the benches rock back and forth while the room spins, making it feel like you're actually spinning around. The story/myth the attraction is based on is the legend of the dutch and belgium Buckriders. They were banditgangs in that area that acted in a large area. So people started saying that they flew through the air on goats and bucks. The bandits used this fear to their advantage until an actual witch-hunt was set up to exterminate them. Brutal torture and execution of dozens of people followed for a few decades. This house is said to be the cursed house of one of these buckriders who broke into an abbey and stole the gold and silver, despite being warned by an angel not to do so. As punishment, he'll never find rest in his own house again, nor wherever he goes. Unless someone as innocent as an unborn child enters his house.

When I was a kid, my brother would bring food in his pockets, like bread slices, fruit, peanuts, and as we went into a ride he'd stuff his mouth, and then on the ride he'd pretend he was barfing. Just to gross out people. One time, we went on a ride and he barfed -- but it wasn't a joke. He really was sick. LOL.
