David Villa was the only correct decision that the NYCFC franchise has made. Villa came to a foreign land but he represented and played like a TRUE New Yorker 💪🏻 and that I have the utmost respect for 💙. @Senorsaystoomuch , I'm talking about the OVERALL decisions may by CFG and NYCFC, everything pretty much has been haphazard and NOT well thought out. Alexander Ring is one of my favorite players; tough 💪🏻, bad ass and gets the job done! We NEED more like him. Regarding defender Maxime Chaniot, he is an okay defender but you have to give him credit for all the concussions 🤕 he's received in the name of the team. 🐦

Though I think his tenure into the MLS was premature. He still had a few good years ahead of him to join a Serie A team, hell maybe a mid-tier EPL team. In some of NYFC games you can see villa open with his teammates completely oblivious!
