The town of Carros is located in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, in the Alpes-Maritimes département, with a population of around 12,000 and is about 30 minutes' drive from Nice.
The town of Carros now has a population of over 12,000, following the development of an industrial zone on the right bank of a neighbouring river, the Var, since 1968 and the creation of a new town in the 1970s.
The town is based around three areas: the village of Carros (the historic centre with the castle at its centre), which we visited, Carros les Plants (the town's agricultural and horticultural centre) and Carros City (the city centre).
Many cats live in the village of Carros and we met many of them during our visit. If you like cats, you'll like this video!

What an enchanting village! So many small, neat alleys and passages, so many front doors beckoning, so many small windows… So many trees, seeming to grow out of the very rock. I was surprised there were so few tourists. It all seemed somewhat ghostly… I find myself wondering about the realities of living in a place like that - each living space is actually so close to one another, there can be little privacy. On a hot summer’s day how much of a breeze can you expect in a window? Perhaps that’s why there are so many front doors with chairs sitting outside to catch the evening breeze, after work…

Olá Sayaka e Mathieu... Uma das coisas que mais me intrigam nas visitas aos vilarejos que vcs fazem, é a quantidade de pessoas, que nunca vemos e quase não aparecem nas imagens... As vezes, aoarece algum turista viajante e curioso apenas. Como essas cidades sobrevivem, com um comércio assim tão mínimo ? Vcs saberiam dizer se o governo frances, da alguma ajuda ou subsidia as pessoas para morarem nessas cidades ? É uma curiosidade apenas... ! Parabéns pelo trabalho, e até o próximo vídeo... Bye, bye...

Quand on dit "il n'y a pas un chat dehors ", c'est faux !!😊 ceux-là étaient très mignons 😊 la balade était belle avec les ruelles tortueuses bordées d'arbustes fleuris. Bravo aux Carrossois qui ont à cœur d'embellir leur cadre de vie. A bientôt pour une autre belle promenade 😊❤

Alors Carros le vieux n'est pas du tout une banlieue de Nice, c'est un village dans l'arrière pays, et le Starbucks ou vous vous êtes arrêté est un des plus beaux des Alpes-Maritimes

日本の猫って近づくとすぐ逃げてっちゃうけどここの猫ちゃんは逆に甘えてくるのを見ると日本の猫は蔑ろにされてるから逃げるんじゃないかと思っちゃう
