Very nice, I really liked the technique you used to texture the walls of the building. And the way you simplified the elevation at 7:30, I normally see others just cut a whole new piece and place it on top, but you actually save material by doing it this way, it's simple but not many do that.

Thank you! I think saving material is never a bad thing. Besides, it's probably easier to build the basic structure of the diorama from cardboard than from a styrofoam block.

beuatifull, like always, but I may say that the houses are more muntainside style that seaside style, especially the wood balcony who is tipical of some zone of north Italy, the castle is perfect. The cliff is incredible realistic and the caffé is a very smart thinking. I can't wait your next work.

The planning process is relatively short for me. It's also not unusual for me to make changes during construction. As the buildings are mostly fictitious, there are only templates for the stone structure, window sizes, roof shape etc., for example. I don't know if that's so interesting for most people.

Danke Tino! Ja, die habe ich noch. Im Betrieb war die aber sicher schon 2 Jahre nicht mehr. Bin halt mehr ein "Erbauer" als Modellbahner. Aber "Schönberger Altstadt" wird eine Modulanlage (noch im Bau) die dann meine Kleinanlage ersetzen wird. Wie oft ich die dann nutzen werde, steht in den Sternen.

A wonderful craftsmanship example, as an example coast village the colours are fine. What's wrong is the position of the flag, the mast is placed where is where is damn difficult to hoist and lower it. And I fear that Italian rules forbids to fly the colours on private estate, and on those, AFAIK, the flag is hoisted and lowered daily and put half mast on national mourning. The terrace on the castle is incongruent because it belongs to the architecture of the Alps. On a previous comment on the same diorama I was wrong since I have just seen a picture of an house in Val Pusteria/Pusterthal where the stone colour matches those you used in the diorama.

A little correction about flags. Joint Stock companies mus show the italian and the company flags either on a mast on in the main hall of the man premises.
