I love the village scene in the middle. A lot of animations like this are pure combat, but this one took the time to show us the peaceful life that these people are fighting for. Along with all the unique player designs, it drives home that these people aren't just warriors, they're a community. Fighting for their homes and the people that they love. The illagers aren’t actually bad, they’re just getting revenge on the villagers that banned them from the village for doing adventurous experiments, like experimenting with life and death, which explains the evoker’s attack mechanics and it’s totem of undying, for the pillagers, they were probably trying to adventure and explore new things, and the village forbid it and they should “accept life as it is” and not do anything extreme. Vindicators, ravagers and vexes were probably experiments of the illagers, turning kidnapped villagers into them, and most likely the allay into vex. If the villagers never discouraged them, they wouldn’t have been raided.

In my take: The villagers and players have set traps including a minefield made using TNT and pressure plates, a forest of cacti, a patch of sweet berry bushes, a tripwire that triggers a piston trap door over a lava pit, and three iron golems summoned by pumpkin dispensers. When the raid happens, some illagers got blown up by the landmines, spiked by the cacti and sweet berry bushes, killed by the iron golems and they even fell in the lava pit. The other illagers, including the evoker and ravager, managed to survive the traps, but were defeated by the players and iron golems.

But that’s a waste, you can get so many useful items to disenchant and smelt or use, you can get a few totems of undying, and if you have a looting sword III like me and playing on hard difficulty, you can get OVER A STACK of emeralds, and I have a fully powered beacon just from raids, so I recommend not to pass a raid up
