This story is about Partition 1947 of Thatta Manak village in Gujranwala district. The numberedar of this village was ujaagar Singh Before 1947, most of the Sikh Wirk lived in this village Four houses belonged to Hindu Khatris and six houses belonged to Muslim sheikhs, blacksmiths and potters. Makhan Singh, Lakha Singh and Takha Singh used to have very good relations with a Muslim Shaykh family. The elder who is interviewed is a resident here. He was 14 years old at the time of partition.
