Exactly. When I visited North, i felt different. They roll the roti like a cone, and fill it with the sabzi by the spoon and then eat that without creating a mess. But here we will get satisfied only when the gravy is poured into the roti/Paratha and it should start soaking Then, give a dip to the extra curry & eat it with a hand by creating a mess!!

Respected elders and dear brothers..good to see that you are proudly showcasing your culture and way of life...i regularly enjoyed south Indian thali during my stay in trivandrum and Ernakulam. Sadly its not available even in south Indian restaurants in far north. It would be great if you can put or share the recipes so that i can try at home.
