1. Michael Biehn/Hicks played Reese in Terminator as did Bishop/Lance Henriksen as the assistant police chief. 2. Am I the only one thinking that maybe they're so cheap that they sent her back out hoping she isn't going to collect her back pay. 57 years is a shitload of Benjamins. They totally screwed her. 3. Bill Paxton and Lance Henriksen are the only two actors to have their characters killed in the "Alien", "Terminator" and "Predator" series. . 4. Possibly the best dialogue in the movie: Hudson, "Hey Vasquez, have you ever been mistaken for a man?" Vasquez, : "No have you?"🤣 5. Much of Bill Paxton's dialogue was ad-lib. RIP Bill😇 He was Chet in "Weird Science" 6. IRL Paul Riser's mom during a preview viewing actually stood up and cheered when his character Burke got his. 7. Carrie Henn/Newt after this movie her nickname became SCREAM. 8. Mom VS Mom. Don't piss off momma🤬🤬

I couldn't disagree more. With very, very few exceptions, the theatrical cut is the superior version, especially on a first watch. This movie is a prime example of that - the scenes on the planet before Ripley and the marines arrive belong on the cutting room floor. The pace and tension of the film are completely ruined by this cut.

The original channel is called Common Man Show, it's mostly a react channel but there are also some videos from trips the villagers have taken. I find the ones where they react to different cultures, countries and science the best. I would recommend going back to some of the earlier videos there to get to know the villagers better. There are no specific videos about their lives, but watching a few videos you get a sense of where they're from and what concepts they're used to and not. From what I've been able to gather they've had very little interaction with western culture before that channel started and most of them hadn't traveled outside of their region or met foreigners. There's also another channel called Novice Squad where they mostly react to different foods but there are a few videos from their travels there as well.

This is the same world from the first movie. The Company sent a colony here to Terraform the world, "to make it like Earth" and this is a long process that will take many generations living there to do. They have so far changed the world just enough that a human does not need a spacesuit to be outside on it. The workers sent to do this were given a place for their families because the work will not be done until the time of their grandchildren's grandchildren. But then, of course, comes the greed of the Company, and the Traitor, which exposes the colony workers to The Alien, and the real game of survival begins.

@@Marcel_Wendigo The problem with Aliens 3 is that there shouldn't be any Xenomorphs there, because the planet was abandoned in Aliens 2 and the ship was free of Xenomorphs. The explanation that eggs were laid in the survivors is not valid if you consider the second part.

Alien and Aliens are masterpieces. Alien 3 just disrespected that by taking a massive dump on the final payoff in the second film. For that reason alone 3 deserves to be nuked from orbit.

One version of this story from the comics had predators dropping queens on select planets so they could come back later and hunt aliens as a right of passage for young warriors. It explained the relationship between predators and aliens, but the movies took the story in a different direction that wasn't anywhere nearly as interesting, probably because of budget constraints. The movie warned of the downfall of money but money in real life was the downfall of the movie series.

Please don’t take this as criticism. I’m not sure if this would be important to you. I adore this channel. Truly, I do. In the subtitles, especially Raheem and Babu Bhai, during a, let’s say, fight scene will scream out something about ‘fun;’ “Let the fun begin!” “Now, it’ll be fun!” Is that the actual word they use or the most direct translation? I noticed in this one, when you first see the Queen, Babu Bhai said something that translated “It’ll be fun to put a bomb in her mouth!” Is what they’re saying more “It will be ACTUAL fun trying to stick a bomb in that giant thing’s mouth! Having a party and doing that are the same thing!” If I’m catching the context, it seems like what he’s saying is more like “It would be GOOD if the Queen had a bomb in her mouth!” Maybe it’s more “Have a GOOD fight!” than “Have a FUN fight. If they’re being completely ironic, though, it’s often hard to pick that up in translation. One thing that I LOVE about your channel is all the support you get from people who are not blessed to speak your language. Im hard of hearing. I must have captions on whatever I watch, no matter the language. Every non-speaker viewer you have, for the duration of these videos, lives my life. HAVING to have the captions. Im a captions snob and yours are very good! I was just making a suggestion about your wording and conveying accurately what the guys are saying and feeling.

This react just had to be! It was quite long, but every minute was enjoyable. Wonder if you'll go on with the series - against popular opinion I didn't find Alien 3 _that_ bad, and Alien: Resurrection I thought was even more entertaining (than Alien 3; not the first two movies). And since they've already seen Predator, an Alien vs Predator react could be interesting, too. Although that movie is a perfect counter-example for the 'show, don't tell'-principle (Exposition: The Movie, basically).

@@notbloodylikely4817 🤣 Ha! I love this comment! I do hope they watch at least Alien vs Predator, but Requiem can be easily skipped. And Resurrection is a fun slimy mess of a movie, though might not make sense without knowledge of Alien 3. Alien 3 doesn't hold up in the visual effects department and was a huge disappointment after the masterpieces of the first two films, but I still find the story interesting enough.

Yeah, it‘s an extended version. I don‘t like it and to say it in the words of the director: it ruins the pacing. And yes, he is right. It was a good decision leaving them out in the theatrical version.
