you don't need to depend on a zombie for a carrot. farmer's delight comes with wild crops, so you can find wild carrot in, well, the wild. also, farmer's delight comes with several cooking items - cooking pot, skillet, stove and cutting board. you would use the cutting board with a knife to cut food, but it also has more uses with other tools, so you might want to look into that

I like the way you talk about growth and how we shouldn't compare our progress to that of other people. I've recently read a quote that said "a flower doesn't compare itself to the other flowers surrounding it, it just blooms." it's something I remind myself of often. And yes, there's no true perfection, if there was there would be no need for change and growth, and that's just not what life is about : ) btw, about that green book in your inventory which shows you crafting recipes, I'd advise you not to rely on it as much and instead use the JEI search bar you see on the right side of your screen in your inventory, it essentially shows you everything unlike the book. Another thing, about the backpack. if you hold it in your hand and right-click it should equip automatically. you don't have to take it off to use it, there is a hotkey bound to it, I think it's the B key by default but you can change that in control settings. (the same goes for all equipable items such as the charms etc, if you don't know which slot they go in just right click while holding it and it will do it for you) idk how much of that you've already figured out tho so I might just be yapping pointlessly ;p

@@khugg That backpack mod is what we are using on my SMP. Once your get the basic pack, for the overworld my main one I used was the squid pack because you have unlimited water breathing! But end game pack the best is the Dragon Pack. It costs the dragon egg but you can dupe it if you wanted to.
