What's really sweet about that is Konstantin is strong and dangerous, and could have easily taken her gun and shot her with it when she was dazed, yet he chose to run instead. If that's not proof he's genuinely fond of her, idk what is.

Konstantin is the perfect handler for Villanelle because he's a bit childish himself. You'd kinda have to be to put up with Villanelle's antics. The one time she's is given a new handler she immediately kills him cause they don't match well together lol

@@thequarrywoman1 I think Konstantin definitely is manipulative. When it comes down to it, he always chooses himself regardless of the consequences for people around him. I do believe he cares for Villanelle, maybe even loves her - but he loves himself much more to the point where he uses love/affection to manipulate other people (including V). At the time of the season 3 finale Villanelle has come to realize Konstantin will never make big sacrifices for her, which is why she also doesn't want to run away with him any longer ("you're not family").

It was part of the plan to convince her to kill Aaron Peel, after that scene Konstantin ask: "are you planning something? because if you are... Eve and you would be by your own", that is how Konstantin plant the idea on Villanelle´s head to kill Aaron , as a way to tell her that they would not have other way than escape together which is what Villanelle wanted. But before that she was just excited that Aaron would buy her everything.
