Could you please make a video of how to clean the system inside. Rotors/heat exchanger and the other moving parts. I vacum cleand our machine as best as I could. Then a few droplets of CRC oil on the shaft. We also would like to know how to reset the panel after a filter change. Thanks in advance!!!! You are the best!!!

Rory do you use this to warm the house in winter? Or alongside an existing heat source eg boiler. My system just has a higher / lower heat button. Also are these easily serviced. Mine has never been serviced in the time I've been here, but very rarely use.

Hi Jak. We have a ground source heat pump but for periods of the year we just use the Systemair as we like the fresh air and filtering. So when colder (but heat pump off), I turn on the heat recovery mode. Never had it serviced as I do it myself buying the parts from UK Systemair people who are very good. Fresh air in modern sealed houses is very very important. It’s unnatural and unhealthy not to have fresh air. Our system is running 24/7/365. Hope this helps 😊

@@cotswoldmusings aha very interesting. I live in a drafty (Georgian) converted to apartments (2005) house with this system (and a boiler) so pretty intrigued. I'll contact Systemair. Thanks so much for the heads up! J

@@jacquelinecloake1552 I’m surprised this system installed in your older style property. Our last house was like yours and definitely never any condensation because of constant air movement. Unless I’m missing something I’d question the need in your home. For sure in the summer with windows open it’s a pointless waste of energy using this system. Plus in winter there’s the risk you just create more drafts with the radiators struggling to keep house warm. In France where householders use those roller shutters on all windows while away they often use small plastic cheaper versions just to prevent house going musty while shut up. Doesn’t apply here in the U.K. Our modern house has underground cinema etc. so there is a need for this technology.

Hey rory i have one of these in my house and it makes very loud noise in my room is this meant to happen its like a loud blowing noise been living here for 10 yrs it came with the house

Hmmm, I need more context please as it all depends on what you mean by loud noise and “in my room”. These units should rumble quietly like a tumble dryer or fan. More of a background hum than loud. Please can you be more specific. Thanks

We hawe the same. Works good. Now it shows Temperature Sensor Error. Could be Short circuit or breach in sensor(s). I try with changing a Sensor. A Sensor coms with a 1.8m Cable, costs 40€. Looking for instructions to change the Sensor.

Have just been to a customers property as the extract fan had started to make loud noises - its turned out to be the rubber bush mount holding the motor shaft (sits on the triangular legs at end of motor). I have been told this rubber mount is not available as a spare so have to change the whole motor. Does anyone know if the rubber mount can be sourced?
