When you see Ville, you can easily see that he REALLY cares about fashion and style. He has his signature , like wearing suits with hoodies, the silver rings and stuff like that. People complaining about the questions for a FASHION BLOG really do not understand him. He's not an arrogant intellectual in a ivory tower. He likes art, books, music and he likes fashion too. Style is a big complement for the music.

I see that there are some critics about the questions. In fact from this type of questions you can see the deep personalty of someone, and you clearly can see how chill he is, and unfortunately there was no youtube back then 1994-2000 to see some of his interviews and understanding how humble and direct he was.

Nice interview, different from others in which he looks kind of bored since they always ask him the same questions. Even if this was about fashion, it seems he had a good time. Also... I believe he is told beforehand what some interviews are going to be about right? So probably he agreed to it just to talk about something else other than music for once (not that we would mind if he does)... its good to take a break and talk about trivial stuff every once in a while..

i know, i was confused too. but i was actually asking because i gave this a thought before. when you look into HIM fan communities, usually what fans answer what they would ask ville if they ever got the opportunity to talk to him, is super shiftless as well. Like, how do you write your songs or how do you cope with being a sex symbol or all that stuff that he has to answer since 20 years now. he is such an interesting person, there should be tons of original questions that are at least a bit as interesting as he is. BUT it actually is not that easy. If I had the chance to ask, I would need to think through what idea i have of him as a person in order to get to the questions that really have some substance to them. but it's not as easy as it sounds at first. lol, sorry for rambling

Fluffy PuffPuff Most of my questjons would be related to his personality, especially about the writing process.I also used to write symbolic poems back in the day , so I know how it is when inspiration comes and let you not sleep at night, but his case is different for me, so my questions would carry personal insights. I'd be also interested in the way he "hears" this world or sees it. As far as I have noticed he is a strong person, I mean physically too.No matter how drunk he were, he would never lose the sense of reality and fail completely. How so???How does he manage? And also- he is so free thinking and free behaving ( with the exeption of being vulgar, he has never been vulgar) that one might envy him in the good sense, at times it blows your mind and you don't know what to be more amazed at- his humour or his pushing up the standards to such an extent that the border is blurred.I'd surely talk about that. In all his interviews, in ALL of them, when it comes to talking about himself and his success, he is ALWAYS somehow humble and never gives himself too much credit about what he has been doing and the way he manages to stay unspoilt and polite and gentle in the world of wealth, show business and betrayals is also a great question.He says he is non-religious, but in fact he does all the things that would describe a religious person. How does it happen so? -i'd ask too. That' s how I see Ville, and also questions about leadership, cause he a true one.......

what a nice answer you wrote! I can relate to this so much. I truly think that all the good bits about him you just described are strongly rooted in his parents. They are a strong family with a lot of support and open-mindedness. they are atheists as far as i know and gave him a lot of freedom, but not too much. It's something he has in common with many people that despite their environment or sometimes hard circumstances can handle all kinds of influences. the lifestyle he chose and the place that he is withdrawing his inspiration from is a very exhausting one. the pain of relationships (like he said he is almost always in one and never had a ONS), the corruptness of the business, the parties (well, not so much anymore, because he does reasonable decisions) the exhaustion after the tour, he talks a lot about that, right? and we know about his rehab and all that. I think he has pretty decent methods to get himself out of the mudd again and that the way he is writing is so true to what he feels that it is very therapeutic. it has amazed me to do a bit of research from today back until to 1996 and to see how much he has changed and grown as a person. he has always been very humble and down to earth exactly lik you said it. and he is like an open book, the way he moves and talks, you can totally see how something must have happend after 2010 that made him grow up in a way. i would love to have a conversation about these things with him like i am having with you now, but I wouldn't know how to not make it sound creepy haha. and the way how they actually created a song within the band, that would really interest me, too. I can imagine the days he locks himself up in his room and writes these diary-like songs, that's basically the same I do as living from painting, and you said you can relate as well. But I would never know how to handle and process it with other people after that. this and a million more thoughts. he's such a muse. And I usually don't say this kind of cheesy devoted stuff haha.
