I have the DC-550 Pro and I can't get any sound out for the headphones. I have the volume all the way up. if i plug it into the camera they work. when I plug the headphone into the monitor, I get nothing. I can hear a click when I turn the monitor on and off. all the settings on the camera are on. canon 5d mark 2

be careful I updated mine the day I got it and it wiped out the monitor. no longer had any picture. The screen was just gray, I had to send it back to get replaced. There is no way to undo it. I followed the instructions perfectly to the T. It is very simple to do. You put the card in with the file on it, then you tap on system, then you tap upgrade. it counts from zero to a hundred, and that is what I did. then when I turned it off and on again. RIP the monitor never worked again. If you don't need it don't do it. use caution @@viltroxofficial

I don't know what happened, normally when I get a new device, I update the firmware before using it. I never had a problem till now. I never got to use it lol I called them and said it was defective and they sent another one. I didn't tell them about the update. Luckily for me no questions were asked. I called them the same day it came. the site was all in chines. I watched the video and did exactly what they did. was very simple. no brainer. it must be the firmware :( I deleted it so I can't tell you what the version was

@@kb2cxj I do the same thing when I get a new device. But yes i’m getting mine replaced as well by Viltrox. Have to send it back to the shop I bought it from and theyll send it back to China to get it “inspected” but honestly this problem is definitely a firmware issue that i’ve seen others complain about. So they need to replace it. I had it for one day and that happened 😅

Sadly, this will have to be a pass for me because it doesnt offer Desqueeze for Anamorphic Dx even the Andycine A6 plus which is roughly around the same price 189.99 USD has it and that monitor is 4 years old!
