The "learn to type quickly" can be mastered using Klavaro (runs on Linux, OSX, *BSDs and even Windows). I especially like the option to create custom lessons so we can practice the things we are still lacking behind.

Thanks for the great vid. I suggest to go with Colemak if you have RSI. Colemak learning curve is lower. Moreover, get an ergonomic keyboard, and take many small breaks as well. I am currently using the Perrix 512 keyboard and it helps with my RSI. The pressing force is also lower comparing with the Microsoft 4000 keyboard.

Good one ... Though lot of commands changed in rails vim, it is a good place to know about where to go and get information.

Hey Ben :Rfind "is obsolete"? Now using the :find command. ":find user " takes me to the User model; :Rfind does not. THANK YOU for the video

It does not pick up rails source code. When I put the cursor on has_many method it does not take me to the method definition.

You could pass bundle path for ctag's option like this `--languages=ruby --exclude=.git --exclude=log . $(bundle list --paths)`, it creates tags for rails source code

Yeah but how come he did not execute this command and it worked for him? He must have a gem 'gem-ctags' installed which does this for him which he did not tell about. At least that's what I've figured out after doing some research.

Please mark this video as not safe for work. vim is an invader from an era where text editors are thought to be simplistic, and beholden to the content they consume.
