Vin Gordon played in The Soul Brothers who were the Studio One house band after the Skatalits broke up so he would have played with The Wailers in the early days at least but I don't know if he did later on.

Well it says that he is also known as Don Drummond Jr on his own website: www.vin-gordon.com/ as well as on his Facebook page and Discogs and Wikipedia, and on Dub Vendor's website to give a few examples. Glad you like the clip.

You're both right in a way. Don Drummond JUNIOR is Vin Gordon, as the story goes, called so because he sounds a lot like the real Don Drummond who was a founding member of The Skatalites and died in 1969. It's a little confusing, and Wikipedia mentioning both trombone-players as a member of The Skatalites only makes it more confusing lol :)
