My mom, my sister, and my girlfriend all strictly believe in the ”my body my choice” philosophy. my girlfriend has even had an abortion with no bad feelings about it. I’m not really asking for advice cause I could never confront any of them, but I agree with this, and as a man it’s hard cause I can’t and couldn’t change their minds without horribly affecting my relationships with them. I would never kill an abortion clinic worker obviously, but vin saying it’s “easier to do that rather then try to change the minds of those around you” really hit home

Real life isn't sunshine and flowers, dying fetus lyrics are more real and honest than most of the shit you hear on the radio. Life isn't always pretty, some people choose not to ignore that fact through their music and art, hence death metal. Some metal shouts what people often ignore, I say some because a lot of the 'leading edge modern metal bands' lyrics are pretty on point with flowery pop music. Even metal is going soft now, but at least bands like Dying Fetus keep it brutally honest.

Agreed very intense topic, after hearing your inputs I'm simply curious about your views in regards to world resources dwindling due to overpopulation of consumers. I can see both sides to abortion and was adopted at birth, I feel the government used abortion as another divisive argument tool while our planets lands and oceans simply continue dying out. I'm neither right wing or left wing, so my question again, regardless of circumstances, is abortion a valid solution to a majority of irresponsible people being careless with their bodies if it saves our planet for future generations? The song doesn't celebrate abortion, But it also doesn't shy away from being honest about the "pro-life" crowd. There's another song by Dying Fetus called "R*ped on the Altar" that I'd love to see a review on. I also wan't to point out that the idea of "bodily autonomy" from a pro-choice perspective isn't "she should do drugs and have no responsibility". I think it says a lot that we have over 400k children in foster care and the loudest pro-life advocates are always dead silent about that issue but will gladly give money to mega churches who shame mothers for getting abortions while flying around in private jets and doing nothing for the children they claim to care so much about. Pro-birth and Pro-life are not the same thing and It's time we all understand that.

The way I see it is that abortion is a nasty business that should stay legal. If abortions are to be done, I'd rather them done by medical professionals rather than in a back alley or the black market. There really isn't a black and white answer because I think it's a far more complicated topic than major voices on either side would like you to believe.

LOL. Dying Fetus is a kind of, lets say a Death Metal band that can be enjoyed by a "not so into metal" individuals because Dying Fetus has groovy riffs. Their songs are catchy to be honest when compared to other death metal bands. Somewhat melodic.. Another good thing with Dying Fetus is they give effort on their lyrics.. They have many great songs that tackles political and social problems.

@@joshuascott3428 Definitely you should. I first discovered them when I was in Highschool. When I was a teenager, the only metal band that I listened to are mostly Nu Metal bands like Slipknot and Korn. Then a friend of mine suggested to me that I should try Death Metal,and he named Cannibal Corpse and Dying Fetus as a starter. I never really liked them on that time, it was "too extreme" on my part. And to be honest, I still can't stand Cannibal Corpse to this day,I mean, some of their songs makes me bang my head but most their songs are just kinda off on my taste(too much noise rather than melody, and guitar solos are mehh) .. But it's a different story on Dying Fetus,it grew on me over time. I love them so much now.. I mean, I am so impressed with Dying Fetus, they're making me pump adreline on my blood whenever I listened to their music. And this recent lineup makes you appreciatte them more because they are playing at a extreme level with only 3 members. I'd recommend you start with Reign Supreme album, brutal album but catchy.
