If you end up on an even number of clicks, you didn't vote as a like at all, because the first click turns the like on, while the second click turns it off. I think this carries on all the time, unless maybe you re-loaded your OS on your computer, because it's keeping track of you. You have only voted as a like if you have it lit blue up there. In effect, you can vote as a like a million times, and yet that blue lit like may be off (technically it would be off after a million, since one million is an even number). It's only crediting you for one vote, bad or good. To click it again merely turns either vote off.

You're in 2nd grade. Christmas break just began. You get off the school bus at your house. You run through the deep snow to your door. You get the snow off your boots and your mom is waiting for you in the kitchen. She made hot chocolate. You tell her about the Christmas party your class had that day. You tell her you can't wait to travel to see your relatives and cousins. She lets you go into the living room to watch cartoons. A few hours pass. It's night now and the snow started falling. Your mom comes downstairs. She tells you to get off the TV and either do a puzzle or decorate the house. You decide to do a Christmas puzzle. She puts on this song. She begins to decorate the house while you get the puzzle out of the box. Your dad comes home and brings dinner along with a few wrapped presents. Everyone stops to eat. You continue to work on the puzzle for the rest of the night. You go to sleep watching the snow fall outside of your window. It was a simpler time.

This music takes me back to a more innocent and simpler time. The music and all of the Peanuts scripts/movies always give a smile on my face, even in times of hardship as an adult. Charles Schultz and Vince Guaraldi will always remain with us and their legacies will last the test of time. It makes me somewhat emotional realizing that only a decade ago I was twelve. Adults have a rather complicated way of viewing the world, I wish it was otherwise. But based upon the experiences I've encountered, the childlike innocence is no longer there. It may sound depressing, but I'm in this world alone and leave alone. But like Charlie Brown, "Someday the sun will shine my way." I don't know when, but I know it when I'll feel it. And when it does, I'll reply back to this comment.

He'll never leave you lonely or comfortless, even when you feel like He has; He's always closer than we think. ;) Jesus loves you so much! He died so that you can have an abundant life full of worth! You are so precious to Him. I pray that you will run to the arms of the Father, they are open wide for you...

You are so right my friend! Adults tend to view the world in the most complicated way. They seem to forget every time that every complicated thing rose from a simple concept. I teach young students every day and we get along great because I explain to them that a building starts with a brick, and music always starts with ONE NOTE. This is how we build great things. Thanks so much for reminding me to keep to this concept! Peace to you and yours always!

As Christmas approaches, I felt the need to express my humble opinion regarding this music. Nostalgia pervades the music of Vince Guaraldi coupled with the work of Charles Schultz. For me, Guaraldi’s music brings me back to my youth, to a cold Christmas day, surrounded by the warmth of both the cozy fire and my ever-loving family. To a time of pure bliss, where innocence and ignorance kept my mind at ease, where worries ceased to exist. As a young adult, I carry that longing for the past, who wouldn’t? However, that being said, I know I must carry on, for I will one day be providing the same security and comfort my parents gave me to my own children, and that in itself, is pure joy. So as I sit here… listening to the music of Vince Guaraldi and pondering life, I believe the words of Nick Carrway from the brilliant novel The Great Gatsby best sums up what I’m trying to say: So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past. Happy Holidays to all! May the Music of Vince Guaraldi continue to bring happiness into the hearts of all!

I was born in 67 so I don't have the actual memory of this time, but even so, the music and the vocals and the mood of that beginning scene are indeed magical. The innocence of childhood when Christmas seemed like a month off school and coming inside wet after sledding all day and playing on the Apple IIe in long underwear with hot chocolate and imagining what an adventure is like in the mind's eye versus having it told to you in hi-res CGI. When the woods and fields were open for play before the subdivision infrastructure went into place. Before construction equipment covered "the old ball field." The music and song of this beginning make me miss my mom and my wife's dad and my old work colleagues I spent 17 years with before the magic died.

After taking a break from Walt Disney & Looney Tunes after the craziness of both of it's fandoms.... It was Peanuts music that came to my aid, the good ol' Vince Guaraldi. Thank you Vince for letting me listen to this cool music, there's nothing like a good sound of Jazz music from the Peanuts specials to calm me down 😎👍

I have loved Guaraldi's jazz compositions for years, many of them enduringly associated with the Peanuts TV specials, and adore "Skating." The opening piano work perfectly captures the "feel" of falling snow. It's like having a piece of childhood in a cork-topped bottle, preserving forever the buoyancy, optimism, and wonder in appreciating a winter's day, skating with friends . . .

I was a month old when A Charlie Brown Christmas debuted in 1965. I have literally grown up with this cartoon and I haven't missed it once.

Nothing like a "Charlie Brown Christmas" to set the mood for the holidays! Gives me a flood of childhood memories back when life was simple, and not as dark as today!

Damn, I spent a weekend at Mizzou with my brother and had the best time. Saturday morning I woke up and was looking through my brother's friend's records, saw this, and played it right away. I always like Christmas Time is Here but I got a newfound appreciation for the whole soundtrack, especially this song. Reminds me of the weekend, which really depresses me cause it was so great and my normal life is so not. This song is perfect
