can we y'all accept the fact that YG/Teddy artists are just on another level of dopness-swag that no other korean artist has? Well yes but you can't compare Black Label artists or normal solo artists to idols. By definition "idols" are supposed to act in certain way, to idols their image is even more important than the music. Meanwhile artists like Vince can have more artistic freedom in exchange for lack of crazy fans bulk buy albums.

I've listened to both 2nd gen and 1st gen kpop idols long before the originality of pop faded off. There's too much stress and too much consciousness idol has to put to get accepted. All because of fans specifically in Korea. You can take Big Bang as example. They still are considered idols, aren't they? They don't stick to the specifics and they venture out. They didn't have harsh choreos and their outfits all wacky. But still they outshined. The first idols who's got their songs featured in billboard. It's down to the companies actually. And I believe yg and teddy and g dragon and cl and everyone down till the newest additions ,they don't go by the stereotypes and they get the harshest hate. But they still slaying.
