Vo solcando un mar crudele 잔인한 바다를 항해하네
짧지만 강력한 경력을 가지고 있는 나폴리의 레오나르도 빈치(1690-1730)이다.
1730년 로마의 Teatro delle Dame 에서 초연된 “아르타세르세”는 그의 마지막 작품이다.
소프라노 카스트라토 조반니 카레스티니에게 헌정된 악보 “Vo solcando un marrudele 잔인한 바다를 항해하네”는 바로크 오페라 아리아 중 대표적인 작품으로 눈부신 구성과 기교를 자랑한다.

The poor fella just hasn’t got Fagioli’s mature voice, and magnificence. I think there is not enough vocal support (the voice disappears at times)…… it’s all “voce blanca” . Unfortunate sound for such a spectacularly emotive aria.

He's a decent sopranist, but this aria doesn't really suit his voice. Fagioli has a stronger lower range as required for this piece due to being more of an alto. Fagioli has better coloratura also. Also, that outfit looks more like something Michael Jackson would wear.
