Fascinating talk! Like a previous questioner, I'm wondering how the very fine teeth were cut on those combs. Presumably microscopic examination could find tool marks to help with this question. I'm guessing that a fine saw was used - but even today it would be difficult (if not impossible) to find a saw capable of such delicate work.

Thank you very much for this video. I am a restorer in Hungary, and in the last few years, many wooden objects have been found on excavations, many wooden wells, small wood wessels, etc, and unfortunately few combs.
