Thanks Marta - great start of the season and also a great idea to do a brief update summary at the end of each dig period. It will give excavators a good sense of what's developing and where their efforts will fit in. Looking forward to catching up in June :-)

Was a pleasure to work as a volunteer in period one with the Vindolanda team. I think we made good progress, despite the inclement weather. Am looking forward to seeing how work progresses on site. Cheers W.

I walked Hadrians wall years back and at one point could have made a small detour to see Vindolanda but was too tired to take the opportunity. I’m still kicking myself 😂…
