Hi. I buyed Hisense 55" tv in September 2020 online from Reliance digital. For 2 months I had no problem but in December screen started flickering. I knew that this was not a panel issue. I logged complaint on hisense call centre directly, not through Reliance digital. within a week my motherboard was replaced and till date it is working fine. I've got two years panel warranty and three years comprehensive warranty from Reliance digital. Delivery and installation were one day late of schedule but done properly. I use only Internet via Ethernet on my TV with speed 10 Mbps unlimited and currently am happy with my choice. I had great experience with good quality pictures and sounds Only thing I noticed that fast moving scenes are not perfect but i can ignore that. I am happy with my buy. It is very important information for Mi customers and people who are planning to buy Mi products specially LED TVs. Mi products are very fragile and very inferior in quality. The repair cost for Mi products is higher than the cost of buying the new or better/updated product. We have bought 4 same Mi LED Smart TV 4 (55 inches) in the month of July 2018 costing Rs. 44,999 each as I have a big joint family. Two out of four Mi Led TV’ss panel got damaged and the replacement cost for the panel was provided by the Mi service center is Rs 37000 each. Presently this is an outdated model and Mi has launched new Led TV in 55 inches for Rs. 36,999 (available on www.mi.com and For Rs. 35000 on Amazon) which is a much better model than mine as my Led TV has become outdated and it’s software can’t be updated. In fact, my TV doesn’t even have Prime Video and one has to at least invest Rs. 3500 in MI Box 4k and attach it with it so that all the apps can work on it (suggested by MI company). So now to run it properly I have to invest Rs. 40,500 on this LED TV. It’s been 4 months now and there is no response from Mi to provide me justified repair cost. I have personally visited the service center and their outlook is very simple and they say that Mi doesn’t believe in repairing the products. Sir If You've to choose between Hisense 55" and iffalcon K71 55" which one you would like to pick? Before you answer my question, notice 1 thing. iffalcon has everything in comparison with Hisense but lacks the Dolby vision. And both have no MEMC. So if you like to choose iffalcon, pls give strong reasons. One more question, does 4k upscaler technique work when playing videos from Pendrive?

Great info. Can you please guide me on choosing a 4K TV (43/50/55) which is not too pricey but has higher refresh rate. I want to purchase mainly for PC use and sometimes watching internet based videos. I could able to find Samsung TU8000 and one or two Panasonic TVs. Sometimes Amazon or Flipkart randomly write 60hz, so there is a chance of missing some good models. Thought you may be the correct person for selecting the right model. Please give some choices. Theoretically you can connect any TV with your PC which has CEC port. But it won't be a good idea because the refresh rate of TV's, specially in budget segment is maxed out at 60Hz, and PC needs 100-120 Hz. You may buy a Monitor, if not then go for a budget TV like Hisense which will solve the purpose 😊

You have not mentioned the contrast ratio of these TVs. I have read that DLED TVs are better than ELED TVs. What is your opinion on this? Sony & Samsung TVs in 43” section are having ELED panels. While searching for TVs I have seen that 55” or higher size TVs of Sony and Samsung is having DLED panels.

I purchased LG 43 inch 4k 7290 in 33500 from FLIPCART. I am fully satisfied with picture quality and smart functions. No to cheap Chinese brands. Earlier had vu tv . worked only for 2 years. Sony is best but costly. So i preferred LG.
