Pigeon is also having autocut feature. For that you have to keep knob below Max level. Max is for continuous use.

I have used multiple kettles so i can help with a few things, If you are on a low budget then you can try Pigeon or Butterfly or similar types. The build quality is very basic and wont last for a year if you use it daily. The main issue is with corrosion mainly at electric contacts , as the quality of material is low it gets easily eroded. And don't expect service or warranty from brands for such products😂 If you are a daily user then go with havells or Agaro or any high quality brand. Their build quality is good but again it increases the cost at least 1K+. Customer support is still not good but at least it can be repaired. You can only use it properly to boil water. Milk gets burnt as the temperature at base is very high. same with maggie, if you are okay with soupy maggie then you can have it but you need to stir it continuously. Auto cut off works initially but as temperature is high, steam is generated and it passes through the body of the kettle and gets condensed at electric joints which creates rust which increases resistance and eventually increases temperature. So as you use it, it gets so hot that sometimes the contacts melt or worst case scenario it catches fire. So auto shut off is good to have features but don't rely blindly on it.

The problem with these budget kettles is that when you start using them, you get a strong plastic smell that leeches from the lid into the water. I have experienced this with 2-3 different kettles that I have used so far.

Vineet, I was confused to go for Pigeon or Prestige which was same price and same specification, even after deep research i found no difference, but i felt Prestige gives better customer service than all other brands, Prestige also having specular brand showroom. after buying only I came to know for all these products there are no warranty, the 1 year warranty is just eye wash, my product is still working in good condition, so dint care about that 1 year warranty, I also dont have confident on ISI or ISO certification all are just advertising gimmicks. the only disadvantage i felt was the power cord was only one meter, so if anybody else is buying for electric kettle go for 1.5 meter power cord.

I bought the Prestige Kettle and it went bad in 2 days. they ask you to take it to the company service center for the warranty. the service center is far and it costs more to go and come to the service center than the cost of the Kettle. Hope less warranty scheme and hopeless Kettle.
