☮Great haul, just got mine in a few days ago too! I have been having shipping wierdness with VS lately too where they ship stuff separate or forget to ship some of it until I email them. They keep saying it's due to having multiple addresses on my account, which sure enough at one point I had 7, all identical though, no clue how they get there or how that causes stuff to ship separate since my default one was unchanged and they were all the same. Ended up clearing them all off and yet they keep coming back somehow so I think it's something funky on their end.

Great video as always! Blank slipcover is dumb idea indeed. I also noticed they use different cases for bluray releases like Side Roads and Blood Tracks have more square-ish spine and it feels wrong.

@scavenger7646 Right!? Terrible idea to do a "blank" slipcover. I noticed as well about several cases recently, and they definitely feel like cheaper cases tbh.

Agreed on the Side Roads stupid "color your own slipcover" gimmick too. i was super disappointed. Like you said, with their slipcover obsessed customers (myself included), they should use the April Fool's day thing as a testing ground for new slipcover/slipbox designs. Each year is a new design and if people like the new style of slipcover (ie Hell Comes to Frogtown or Blade in the Dark), then boom, they have a new sweet slip design to draw people in for future releases! And the people that went in on the April Fool's day have the original slip design, so it still maintains it's coolness/exclusivity. And if people arent digging the new style they test out, oh well, it was a limited run and maintains that original exclusive value but then they know. Then each year its a fun game of "oh baby, i wonder what the new style will be this year!".

Cool haul, can't wait to get mine. I do disagree with your take regarding the side roads project. For 25 you get a movie , a slip for "April fools " which is a blank slipcover with markers. It's meant to be funny , plus it's meant to support the project of getting this movie out . Bonus is that for now, it's only available with supporting the project.

It definitely wasn't for me but to each their own. Its honestly just a total joke to me, but unfortunately, it's not a funny one... When it comes to Vinegar Syndrome I want a real slipcover; it's literally half the appeal. Also, I dont think I know a single person who is going to "make their own" slip, and if they did they certainly ain't going to do it using the four colored markers they provided 🤷‍♂️ Maybe I'll eventually warm up to the idea of a plain blank cardboard wrap, but for now, it falls short on every level...
