Thanks for all the suggestions. I keep adding one or two here and there as the weekend continues, but so far I bought... Thriller (box set) Possession (Mondo Special Edition) Girlfriend From Hell (w/ slipcase) Alien From L.A (w/ slipcase) Heavy Trip (w/ slipcase) Alien from L.A. is a guilty pleasure watch if there ever was one. I was in love with Kathy Ireland in the 80's. Heavy Trip is surprisingly well made, and very funny. A "must buy" for those of us that are old school metal-heads. I saw Heavy Trip playing at the actual Music Box here in Chicago. You may have talked me into a few more. Going over budget once again.

I've been looking forward to this. I already did the Flash May preorder, so can add anything with free shipping. I was considering finally subscribing, but with the world as messed up and uncertain as it is at the moment, I think that may be a bit too much to spend.

Didn't participate in this sale but hopefully next sale I can get Ticks, Flesh For Frankenstein, Summer of 84 and the latest Gialli box set. Ill add your Dead Again recommendation as well methinks. The Tv vol 1 set also intrigues me.

Some movies are available in the UK on blu ray such as raw force and pledge night. I do want the scanner cop movies as they go for silly prices even on dvd and I have not managed to get them yet even on dvd but they will probably be to expensive for me (I'm cheap) and I've no idea if they are region free. Good list.

Yep. There are a few VS scans that are released in the UK by 101 Films. That's how I saw Raw Force and Tammy and the T-Rex. The two Scanner Cop films are on Amazon Prime in the UK at the moment. I started to watch the first one, then thought, nah, I think this is going to be good, I'll buy the 4K from VS. But come the sale, I might have maxed out on other releases, and I'll come crawling back to watch Scanner Cop on Amazon.

Creature is a bit of a guilty pleasure for me. Not going to be everyone's cup of tea, but it's fun for what it is. William Malone's Scared to Death might be one of the hidden titles. That would make sense. Wouldn't mind picking that up if it's one of the secret titles.

So glad you mentioned Unmasked Part 25, one that hardly anyone mentions and I really enjoyed. I had my long list pretty much sorted, then you go and convince me - after some mulling over - that I should go for Olivia and Mausoleum too. :( At this point, my decision to not go Region Free is proving very wise - I want Televised Terror and The Grave, but I can't play them, so no point! Phew.

Anything released after February this year will NOT be on sale. I'm hoping to grab Flesh for Frankenstein, Home Grown Horrors box set and Televised Terror box set. Already have the Scanner Cop box and all VSA from 15-22. If you don't already own them then I highly recommend Ebola Syndrome, Body Melt, Hellmaster and The Amityville movies.

My tolerance on schlock varies wildly, some I love whilst others I find boring. This has made it really hard for me to blind buy films from Vinegar Syndrome, especially since there are some genuinely good films they've released like Dead Heat, Fade to Black, and Patty Hearst. You've convinced me on The Caller, the fact that McDowell is in it was already grabbing me. Maybe The Candy Snatchers as well. The Forgotten Gialli films I'm still on the fence about, since Gialli vary in quality massively from what I've watched. Thanks for the recommendations 👍.

Hey Graham. It’s that fun time of the year again. It’s hilarious how VS savvy I’ve become over the past year. Mostly thanks to your steady guidance. So many amazing recommendations there. I think ‘Tragedy Girls’ is the only one I don’t own (or see yet), I may add it to my list. With my voracious buying spree over the past 18 months this Halfway to BF Sale will be much more reserved than the past three sales. You’ve certainly chosen many of the gems. Deadly Games/Dial Code Santa & the other two Rubén Galindo Jnr titles are great & probably on your next tier choices. I also unexpectedly enjoyed The Phone Book and every Fun City Edition title is pretty solid (although Radio On doesn’t quite fill me with much enthusiasm but is still watchable). Are there any older back catalogue titles that I test you? Or is it the new ones? I’m a real fan of ‘Thriller’, except the over use of Slow motion is really odd & the version I first saw had the jarring Hard-core sex shots…..?!? Cloak & Dagger & Miami Connection plus the secret revelations are really keeping up the momentum of my excitement. Hope you have a fun time.

Outstanding list! I agree with all of those pics. I will make one comment though. Candy Snatchers to me is a stone cold gem. But for some reason it struck me as a comedy. It's a pitch black comedy and there are some rough scenes and that ending. But I couldn't help feel the comedy of errors piling up around all of these characters. The very premise of the crime is undermined by the sociopathic nature of the stepfather. It just struck me as being ludicrous enough to be funny. Maybe my sense of humor has been too corrupted watching all of these bizzarro films. 😏
