It's surprised me seeing this whole video be a semi-tour of Blackpool Pleasure Beach for Joel, it's not something I would have expected to ever happen, though don't know if the full VOD features it, but Joel missed seeing the Wallace and Gromit, and the Pepsi Max rides. With the Nickelodeon Land, I believe even the Power Rangers made occasional appearances during the time Power Rangers aired on Nickelodeon, not sure if they still do this given Power Rangers moved to Netflix a couple years back. Other fun facts include a cancelled Colin Baker era story for Doctor Who was supposed to be take place there, WWE legend William Regal did wrestling shows there when he was starting out, an advertisement for Specsavers featured a ride there, and I believe some versions of RollerCoaster Tycoon featured the park as a level.

My Dad dragged me onto the Pepsi Max ride (It’s called The Big One now) when I was like 9 or 10. I was terrified of rollercoasters and he got us first seats so I could see the goddamn drop. It is 72 metres tall. I was absolutely terrified for my life lmfao but it was actually really fun once it got going. Fun times!
