Lego mostly doesn't acknowledge their past, especially with their video games. For them, every game before Lego Star Wars didn't happen, forcing the fan community to carry on the legacy for them. This is why they will never use Lego Island music or anything relevant to those games anymore. So they used Everything Is Awesome from The Lego Movie instead, as it's a more widely recognized song for a much more successful property to start with.

So I did a bit of digging and found the source of the remastered song. You can download it from the Project Island Website. Aparently Lorin Nelson hat some tapes with some of the Songs lying around and they digitalized, remastered and uploaded those. Also you sould check out their project game if you have any history with the LEGO Games.
