The reason its so aggravating to a lot of people in chat is because checkers is one of the simplest games in existence that is ubiquitous that pretty much everyone learns at a very young age. So seeing someone being ignorant about it is one of the most frustrating experiences lol. If anyone wants to know how to play that doesn't its very simple. You can go up in either diagonal way one square. you can hop over your enemies to kill their pieces if there is space to make multiple forward hops you can do so in one move. You can never go backwards with a normal piece. If you reach their end of the board you can king yourself and now that piece can move in all four diagonals in one space. You can now hop over enemies in all diagonal directions instead of just forward. That's basically it. The basic strategies just involve making sure your enemy can not hop over you by strategically placing your pieces so they cant hop or blocking yourself using sides of the board or your foes pieces.
