@@DollarStoreHeavenLive No, they definitely aren't the same person. Unless you're trying to imply she joined a rescue mission to investigate the ship she herself crashed on. Think about it. RoR1's ship is the UES Contact Light and RoR2's is the UES Safe Travels, which is coming to try to rescue survivors FROM the Contact Light crash. And besides the in-lore proof that they aren't the same, even the creators have stated most of the characters that are in both games simply share a career. Acrid is the same though, since it's an experimental creature -- only one exists. You're right about the costume though.

This game has always been a reverse "league of legends" to me, at least for how my friends play it. Reluctant to start, yet a lot of fun, rather than excited to play and hating everything Ultra fast rather than planned and slow God-like builds by accident every time Your friends are always the saving grace rather than in the way Failure means nothing, no one is serious, no commitment Frequently change up the difficulty for no other reason than experience people are cool with giving you their items they bought if it makes you more OP And at least for me, all of my friends tend to grow closer rather than devolving into piles of salt. Ok, I'm not going to lie, I just hate that game because it changed a lot of my friends for the worst like picking up cigarettes, but it was a great turnaround when this game came out. everyone is 5000% less mad on average.

everytime i boot up league, i increasingly gain an urge to devolve into a fully fledged alcoholic. i just wish riot did a better job of removing the toxic/horrible people from the game based on how they play and their names and chat messages. risk of rain just seems like "this match didnt go so well, we'll probably be super op in the next one haha" and the only way you die is if you get SUPER comfortable, so it does require some skill but its still fun.

1:42:40 The last level was a fun first experience for me because I noticed some kind of shrine below one of the massive bridges, figured "oh, I'll go see what that is". Shrine of Order, never saw it before. Stacked all my items from the last 80 minutes into sticky bombs and leech seeds, yay. So, when I eventually got to the item island, I 100% would've been soft-locked if I wasn't playing the Artificer. I had to carefully do super long glides between structures and slowly creep my way back up to the bridge level. Struggled through the entire boss fight, actually won, then lost the run due to having zero mobility items, getting stun-locked by enemies on the way out, and not being able to beat the countdown timer. Now I know to avoid Shrine or Order, obviously, but it's kinda weird that you can essentially hit a hard failure state if you happen to get to that level with no/minimal movement items or if you're simply playing as the wrong character.

Let me preface this with the fact I love this game and none of what I complain about here detracts from that. Mithrix is too tanky for having four phases. As commando with the lightning strike item the first phase took 7 minutes alone. Don’t get me wrong, I love difficult bosses, but Mithrix feels a little bit unfair to certain builds. If you have mobility items you cant even be hit, and if you don’t have any and are on a non-mobile character he just nothing personnel’s you. Boom. Dead. No chance for learning patterns without a 40 minute hike back through the game. Also the softlock in the final level was just bad. The level itself went on for too long and you just fight the same two enemies (which appear again for no reason during the final boss as a filler phase). The Music was sick though, and was pretty good buildup the first time through, but once you know what pain is awaiting you at the end, the level goes from suspenseful to just annoying. Again I love this game but I wanted to share my thoughts, and know what others think.

You make some good points, the softlock island was overlooked definitely, but the boss wasn't too difficult imo. Commando was enough to beat mithrix on monsoon despite having a bit of a weak mobility skill, it's easy to read mith's attacks since all he does is charge at you, swing his hammer, teleport back etc, I just use my mobility skill right before he swings his hammer so I think all you gotta do is time your mobility skill right and the fight becomes a bit easier (still pretty difficult though) Edit: There's multiple ways to easily slow mith that pretty much everyone overlooks; primordial cube black holes, freezing (a survivor like artificer has no mobility skill, but has an ice wall and an ice spear which are both underrated), and I'm not sure but maybe the irn (dune strider item) I think there's a few more but I'm not 100% sure but these are extremely helpful

I find its easiest to beat him with engy. Loop until you get enough items to buff your turrets. In the last phase when he steals your shit, the turrets you spawned beforehand keep their stuff.

After watching this, I played this game again even though I didn't have much fun with it at launch (console launch, which was early access I guess, even though it wasn't labeled that way). Seems way better off. I had fun! That's a hell of an improvement. The console versions aren't at 1.0 yet (the version Vinny is playing) btw.

The Lepton Daisy doesn't stack (unless they changed it?) In multiplayer because it works on % (at a certain % progress on the teleporter) so having 1 daisy on 2 does one burst of healing at 50% but having 2 on one person causes a burst at 33 and another at 66. I THINK having 2 on 1 person and one on another ignores the person with the lower amount, and doesn't just give a third burst in between at 50, so the first person who picks up a Lepton Daisy, and if anyone else accidentally picks one up they can just scrap it. TLDR Stack Lepton Daisies on a single person, or trade them away. IIRC it only counts the stacks of the person with the most, so they're wasted on anyone else in multiplayer

Missing scrapers, wasting a lot of time on stages. Big oofs, they will get better though
