I'm really surprised this game managed to be compelling with the characters and story. Art is insanely good as well, with a lot of creative areas & things to do. I wish Tingle was more popular so we could get more great Tingle games.

TheGamedawg I was going to down vote this but then I realized how correct it is. Zelda 1, 2, Four Swords, Four Swords Adventures, Tri Force Heroes, and Oracle of Seasons all have more bare bones excuse plots than Ripe Boi's Balloon Swagger. Arguably, Phantom Hourglass and Link's Awakening could be thrown in there too.

Yeah, sorry. On top of a few weeks of initial editing and being delayed for a couple major revisions (thanks to Southbird for some great feedback btw), correspondence with Vinny is somewhat akin to carrier pigeon. Except thousands of other people are also sending their carrier pigeons so it's not uncommon for a hundred-pigeon pileup to occur, during which some of those pigeons may or may not survive.

If you haven’t seen these streams *Watch Them Right Now* No seriously, this (really awesome!!!) compilation doesn’t even scratch the surface with the humor and actually entertaining story this game presents! I enjoy that the compilation hits the general story beats but it’s so amazing to go into this completely blind and grow to love the characters, get intrigued by the plot, and laugh at the absolutely bonkers moments. One of Vinny’s best playthroughs ever!

It was kind of an impossible task. How do you make a highlights video without including the Buriki moment near the end? How do you convey how magical that is without context? How do you establish context in a ~20-minute video while also capturing the moment-to-moment utter batshit insanity and hilarity? Nonetheless, I agree.
