Yeah, Vinny's headset might be a bit bassy, but his actual microphone output is lacking in recording, hence the crispiness. The EQ needs some better bottom on our end, and Vinny's too busy struggling with his own boomy voice he's monitoring 🤣

So far I’m terrified by it. It has a very good horror progression that makes that sense of dread get stronger as you get further in the game. I have multiple water-related fears so it’s probably more effective in my case, but it’s still done very well. I’m having a good time even if I’m shitting myself half the time lmao

For a polygon-cartoonish art style, the atmospheric horror more than makes up for the otherwise non-scary graphics. I’m not clowning on the graphics btw, I think it looks really cute, but this game has no reason to be as scary as it is. The fear of the unknown is strong in this one.

I've had Audio Technica M50X for a few years now. My first replacement pads were some cheap third party ones that let through a lot more external sound and lost a lot of the bass. Now I got another set of first-party pads and I prefer the sound quality, even if they make the sound of my voice really annoying, and are not quite as comfortable. Alternatively you could try modding your pads to make a small gap with some thread or tape or something

The quality on the mic is indeed pretty stellar! The best I've heard in a gaymer headset, you still may want to consider if you're disappointed with the actual headphone part, looking into the Sennheiser/EPOS h6pro. Not quite comparable to a condenser mic or what have you, but top quality cups (sennheiser hd650s I think) and a "good as you can get really" mic
