My favorite part about Chaos Complexx is that the guy who made it also made a remake of an old hack of his (the second reality project) and one of the secret worlds in that hack is actually some of Chaos Complexx remade to be actually good and there's an in-universe reason at the end for why it turned out like... this.

It is absolutely a joke hack and thats why its so good. It's pretty old, one of the earlier mario world romhacks.
