Thanks to Newslaundry for covering the question "why Vinesh had to fight in the 50kg category instead of 53kg"...no other media or youtube channel covered this properly. It is heartbreaking to see our wrestlers battle for their dignity during 2023 while the world champion Sarah, who was actually a 55kg category person, trained for her gold during the same time. It angers me to the core to hear that these girls were struggling for basic necessities such as access to physiotherapist. In the parliament, BJP minister listed the amount spent on Vinesh but forgot to list the amount spent on selfie stands of Narendra Modi. Cricketers have access to every comfort and yet they are rewarded with more. Wonder why Modi never makes a phone call to other Sportspersons and ask them what they need rather than making useless televised congratulatory phone calls.

Great video Newslaundry team. I just have 1 suggestion to increase its reach. You have clubbed 2 different issues (Vinesh Phogat & Bangladesh Crisis) in 1 video which is 40 minutes long. Most viewers don’t feel motivated to watch such a long video. Instead if you have released 2 separate videos (duration of roughly 20 minutes each) the reach would have been much more wider because audience prefer to watch shorter videos. Kindly consider this.
