The Celtic (it goes farther back than that and is found in more streams of the Church) idea of a "thin place" usually is focused on a place, and the place, after such experiences, usually has a chapel or hermitage, like Moses or Elijah going up Mt Sinai, or the Temple in Jerusalem built on the threshing floor where God appeared. Many experience that in church buildings or chapels today, although some are built on places of previous revelations or meetings, such as Lourdes. So I liked the music, for sure, but kept wondering what showed that that place on a drive was more of a thin place than the rest of the drive? I can point to spots on two or three roads or driveways where God met with me, and I could return to them. And then there are the more public thin places where God has met with people over years or centuries and chapels have been built (which is a big reason for pilgrimages), and then there is the chapel next to my bedroom which seems specially chosen by God to meet with me. So is the piece of land or the drive or whatever a thin place?
