I would buy that Vinfast pickup truck over the ugly Cybertruck !! I hope they actually make it for the U.S. market, and lose the silly suicide doors and tarted up interior. Long as it has a decent, ulilitarian interior, and that kickass Exterior, I want one. Unless it's over $50k...

The VF3 does look nice but if it's only a two-seater I don't see it being a good Uber/Lyft ride. The VF Wild I truly do like, if they market it as a light pickup truck for a little off-roading and some U-haul work with a price tag of around $57 thousand.

Has to start somewhere and can’t happen overnight that’s for sure. For sure lots of places have a long ways to go. PHEVs are great and the answer to any type of range anxiety except I don’t think they can be as profitable for manufacturers as the building process is much more complex using essentially two completely separate systems instead of just ICE or EV.

It's called the S-curve... The hipsters and early adopters are already all in.. Now is the beginning of the mass market era... The VF3 is going to retail in the USA for $12,500 for example since it qualifies for the $7500 federal tax credit via a leasing loophole... That should really start to move EV's in North America since there are few alternatives for literally 70% of the buying market for EV's right now... Basically it's the GM Bolt that's now been discontinued and goes for $19,999 or a used Hertz Tesla...

Even Vietnam is a developing country only, but since VF debuted with their EVs 2yrs ago, the car market changed so fast, electric charging stations are EVERYWHERE and spread overall Vietnam (VN is a quite long country). EV taxi (belongs Vingroup as well) is everywhere, even more than traditional taxi in my city. More choice for all, and happy with this.

They look good outside and inside but underneath has been questionable in so many of the reviews I have read. I had signed up on their waiting list over a year ago but having to lease the battery for big monthly payments and to see questionable reviews turned me off. Living in the mountains of BC makes an EV a questionable purchase. I did have a new '22 Bolt, loved it, but sold it back to Chevy Canada when I moved. B.
