This has to be the richest, silkiest, most fulsome rendition of this piece in the most gorgeous set ever made. It is not a piece I would associate with the Queen of Wagner's Valkyries but she was such an artist who had such immense control of her voice that she could sing anything written for a soprano and glorify it. Her companion took full advantage of the opportunity to wind her own voice around that sparkling gem. Brava!!

I have never in my life enjoyed this type of music but I must say this is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. Caught the very end on t.v and had to look it up to hear the entire song.
