Vinnie's wordplay has no ceiling. His voice and aggressiveness almost masks how intelligent he is. Buddy saying things that a lot you couldnt even learn in school. Mans pen game is deep. Respect

The only thing I can't understand is, if you listen to the first JMT album. He talks about stuff that's transcends all religion. Talking about consciousness and the holographic nature of the universe. Then after that he talks about Islam and being a Muslim. No offense meant to anyone but that's a step backwards. That's going from enlightenment that says we are all one connected consciousness to believing in a sky daddy with a very strict rules and basically boxes out or denies anything that goes against the word of Allah. THEN to make it more confusing in MANY MANY songs Vinnie Paz says things like "Anton Levy is like a god to me" or "as I'm Lucifers friend" He's got so many satanic lyrics it's unreal, some of them would be against Islam. It's all very strange. He seems way too smart and to have way too much knowledge to believe in what is frankly an outdated tool of control.

Vinnie grew up catholic, went militant jihad on 'em, then super political and after that he lost me! He has a deep mind, but seems to be still finding who he is outside of one of the illest, hardest, bar for bar killer MCs that ever lived.. I wish he would get off the repetitive bar scheme rockin' syllables every half a bar and get back to them hard punchlines that used to smack you in the face back in the day.. he doin the same ish Em did when em started rappin like he was from bollywood.. I don't want to hear how fast and choppy you can rhyme.. i want to get punched in the face wit steel bars i can feel!

I was just talkin with my boy about the illest rappers ever im the game, had to drop this one on his head. Theres some rappers out there that couldnt write a track this hard if we gave them 10 years to drop it. Vinny Paz is definetly levels ahead of 99% of rappers in mainstream... Vinny reminds me of Nikolov Tesla, way ahead of his time, one of the best to ever do it but never got the recognition or credit he deserves, not to mention the bread. Vinnys my #1 favorite rapper of all time.... not only cuz his rugged grimey style but because his wordgame is untouchable, his knowledge about life and social awareness, religion, his expansive vocabulary, his self awareness and his humbleness and modesty alone lets you know this man is the real deal. Vinny paz is the GOAT and nobody can tell me anything different.

Yussir, Violent by Design was legendary.. Far exceeded PsychoSocial in my mind, but to each their own. That album took the underground scene by storm. Then Stoupe started killin' em on the Visons album!! Those beats were another huge leap! I was able to see the Living Legends and Jedi on tour together at the legendary Filmore in San Francisco. Pigeon John opened too! That tour was a dream come true! This new Vinnie style wouldn't be as live as that old spit was.. "JEDI MiND.. HeAVeNLY DiViNe.. STeADiLY SHiNE IN '99!!!" Like a damn anthem right thur!!!

I remember when Vinny shouted me out hanging off the balcony at the Trocadero in Philly Sept/October of 2004. I was literally fighting the bouncer up there because he wouldn't let me head band off the balcony one leg over... Vinny shouted me out and told the bouncer to chill out... Always remember that day... Shout out to La Salle & North Philly + the bad landz

Man you just don’t hear this style of rap anymore. That old “boom bap” sound and that flow. This is so good. Hell yah Vinnie Paz, Boxcutter Pazzy, The Pazmanian Devil. For reals your one of my favorites ever! Keep doing you and don’t change for anybody.
