@@elbowgang9715 no… Kobe never became the true scorer we know him as until Shaq left but that’s not cuz he was being held back it’s simply cuz he wasn’t that player yet, young Kobe was a menace on defense and a highlight reel at the rim but his shot wasn’t even comparable to the Kobe we know

Iverson was a generational once in a lifetime player. There's just never been another player who's had a cultural impact both on the game and in general like him. People loved him, people hated him, but everyone respected him because he never changed for anything or anyone. He was an absolute joy to watch and a hell of an athlete who could have played multiple sports and been elite at them

The boxing essays & tributes are what brought me to this channel. It's somewhat a sport that people have largely forgotten but it's good to know that there's people out there who still love the magic and allure that boxing has. My dad got me into the sport when I was very young. I still have his old vhs recordings of guys like Bowe, Holyfield, Hagler & others in my house. If I had the editing skills & know how, I'd probably try to find a way to put them online.

My favorite basketball player of all time! He was the real deal and the realest dude. He brought the Hood to the sport of basketball haha. The dude revolutionize the style in the sport and broke ankles on the regular. Best crossover in the history of the game, and he would have been a multiple-time world champion if he had a slightly better team roster. He carried his team to the finals pretty much single-handedly against stacked teams and at a slightly shorter height than most players. The GOAT in my estimation.

If he just gets that one ring against the Lakers he’s considered one of the best of all time! The fact he even got that team to the finals is so crazy.. p4p best basketball player I ever saw and I seen em all since mj

I remember growing up You were either a fan of Kobe Bryant or Allen Iverson. 6'1 guard was such a dynamic watch in real time. Even though I'm a Laker fan I wanted to see A.I. win a championship He was so exciting to watch. Another great documentary from you Joe still amazing to this day. Keep up the great work sir and I'm definitely going to be your exclusive subscriber now.

Another great video Joe. Love the content brother. Please do one on Big Ben Roethlisberger of the Pittsburgh Steelers since he's now retired. I'm a huge Steelers fan and I'd love to see him or Troy Polamalu featured on one of your great documentaries. Keep up the great work and keep it coming. ❤️ Loved Allen Iverson as a player as well

This is my goat! All alone in Philly in his 11 years I can’t even name a teammate he’s had except iguadola. 6 foot and took his team to the finals alone. Allen iverson was so beast they couldn’t criticize his game but his tattoos and hairstyle. That’s wild. That was the first time I noticed how the media plays an agenda trying to pin Allen iverson to be these mean thugs who doesn’t give af. The whole “practice” thing they edited that 49 minute video in 2 minutes to make him seem like this bad guy but they never mentioned he was grieving his best friend

I loved watching him play. He was my inspiration with his style of play. I am only 5'2 but I loved to play basketball in my high school years. And The Answer, as well as Muggsy Bogues, prooved that not only height really matters in this sport. His drives against greatest PF and C of the NBA inspired me to do the same while playing against my oponents. Greetings from Poland
