Vinny doing what I wish I'd had done: started the game with a Gadabout to reclass it later. Not because of the Sage advantage, but just to deal with the strife and baggage that comes with it. NOTE: For monster fanatics, you DON'T need a Wrangler to recruit monsters, as long as you have the right tools: If a monster sees you: Turn invisible. There's an item you can purchase later on to do so, or a Mage/Sage spell that also has the same property. Monster smells you: Musk. Simple as. Monster hears you: Padfoot, esrly Thief skill. Pay attention to how a monster reacts when it flees, leave the map, and reenter when you have the right solution, dood.

You don't have to move to advance time in this version of DQ3, but in prior versions (and every other DQ game with a day/night cycle up until VIII), you did have to move in order to advance time.

Just like in Dragon Quest XI, the idea to make each area on the map speak in different accents was an idea from the localization team, which Horii also reportedly loved as it creates a feeling of journeying around the world.

Binty I don't know if you'll see this but maybe someone who watches on stream can tell you: there is a mod that increases the boat and *redacted's* speeds. Nothing too crazy but makes them feel WAY better to actually use for traversal. The classic battle UI mod is also great. I used both of these for a better and what I think a more authentic experience.

Can't you people recognize anything else Toriyama designed? Anything but Dragon Ball? I've not actually read any of his manga or watched his shows, but I know there's a lot more than Dragon Ball. Dr. Slump, Sand Land, Blue Dragon... He even worked with Dragon Quest creator, Yuji Horii, on another RPG: Chrono Trigger. Why do people always jump to Dragon Ball?
