I highly recomand you check out the FTL mod called "multiverse", it's legit such a gigantic mod with so much love and care put into it that it makes ftl feel like a brand new game. Plus it has its own pretty decently sized modding community which is kinda funny. There's some really high quality addons (aka mods for mods) like a legit fishing mod that adds a whole fishing minigame powered by LUA.

Holy shit I did not expect Vinny to play this game! I've put in almost a hundred hours into Early Access and almost half of that extra into it's 1.0 already. I'm glad to see a 2-hour video of Vinny playing this, and it's good he had friends playing it because it's hit or miss on LFGs with randos for sure, but it's nearly always a fun time to be had.

I always compared it more to Sea of Thieves, just more focus on the ship. My favorite role is the greasemonkey, turning all the valves, running back and forth to fetch stuff from the scoop or refill ammo for people.

If you happen to get more of your mods, a collab with other streamers, or some of your regs going for this game. The Voider Crew mod in the thunderstore mod manager (or R2Modman) is great fun for an 8-man game. It also makes things a tad easier to manage, you got a few of every role able to handle every bit of things, even a circuit monkey!
