I enjoyed the visible messages from the back and forth with Limes, that's one thing the full stream on fullsauce was unable to show fully. I would still recommend anyone who liked this to watch the full two-part stream, this game is so dense with references and humor that at any one moment there's at least a couple visual gags on screen. Also, there's a lot more of my favorite character, the Angry Scottish Plumber. Quite a lot more.

i like how the Town starts as this quirky, weird, charming place... and your lil lad is running around solving problems while people rarely acknowledge his presence outside of telling him to run an errand or do a task. Then, when he's sit down to eat, the wife purposely drops the food and tells him to do something. The whole Town almost turns EVIL in how much they're just forcing him into a purgatory of chores and errands until lil lad has to make a conscious effort to escape.

I just noticed everything that's priced in this game is "10 bob," which supposedly translates into about 10 shillings. England decimalized their currency in 1971, thus making 10 shillings about 50 pence, or half a pound. To American viewers, like me, this means that everything in this town is fifty cents.

Also, how is it "effectively stealing" if they ask the dev "we like this idea but can you do it with Mario?"? If anything, it's the reverse where it's the indies that want to use established Nintendo IP's but Nintendo turns their pitch down. People pitch games to Nintendo because they want to use their characters, it's what they're known for. For instance, Croc was pitched as a Yoshi game, but Nintendo didn't want it so the devs reskinned it to use original characters instead.

The former was gonna be its own original setting and scenario, before Nintendo went like "put Starfox chars in it", both due to the similarity between characters, but also because Rare was gonna soon be bought by Microsoft and Ninty forced the Star Fox chars so they could keep the games to themselves. Epic Yarn, the creator of the game had their own characters and idea for it, but Nintendo thought "I'd be better with Kirby in it" and had again their chars put into an unrelated game. "Also, how is it "effectively stealing" if they ask the dev "we like this idea but can you do it with Mario?" 'Cause when they "ask" a dev to do something, it's not them "asking", its "do as we say, or gtfo with your game". Rarely will they concede to a dev's demands, and if they do, things eventually turn very sour between Nintendo and said devs.
