Okay, so here's the thing about the mushroom slide. I worked at the mall exactly when this was going on and the view you see in the ad is pretty much the view I had every single day from the store I worked at. Understand that this is a huge two-toned flesh coloured phallus-like object (appropriated the cap is darker) and all day long, children are pouring out. This thing was up the entire month of December and nobody thought to pull the plug on it. To this day I shake my head and ask who the hell approved this thing?!! I've told this story to people over the years, but now I have the video evidence to back it up so thanks for posting it!

Probably sourced from CKY-TV, eh? That's where it used to be...now, it's at Graham Avenue, very close to Bell MTS Place as the Rogers Building rises above it. [In the opening title sequence of the CTV Regional News for Manitoba, the Rogers logo seen on the tower is edited out on purpose as Bell MTS Place (then known as the MTS Centre) is seen just before it cuts to the slogan "MANITOBA'S #1 NEWSCAST".]
