Vintage Abercrombie for $2?!? Is this my best thrift find yet???

The dress you described as mother of the bride - the second you held it up on the hanger, that's exactly the thought that went through my mind. I don't think it's anything to do with the expansion pack or the extra (very lovely) curves. I think it was just an old lady dress 😂

Seconded! That’s a style that’s in my experience popular with older ladies because the cut is “forgiving”. To me, they don’t really look good on anyone lol. But otherwise Alex looks amazing as she always does ya know?

That red dress looked absolutely stunning on you! Your eyes don't go to your stomach at all, bc everyone has that, rather the eye is drawn to your decolletage and it makes your waist look snatched bc of the cut! Love the videos this month ❤

I have come here to realize all the things I missed after u returned from ur break and so sad I didn’t see them sooner. Just happy to be able to hear ur voice tho I must admit it’s choking me slightly as I know these are the last bits of “new” content I will come across from u. It’s insane and heartbreaking that ur gone. I hope u know how much u are missed. Fingers crossed we can get some closure on this tragic loss soon and we can end all of the speculation. Tho u will never see this u looked stunning in all of those things. U have a wonderful way of being able to pull off a burlap sack if only u seen u the way we did. ❤

LOVE the color blocking cardigan! For me personally, when I vintage shop, there's no to big 'cause I also LOVE wearing everything oversize (or at least combining oversized items) lately. I just watch fabric and colors the rest will work out :D

I actually thought the red was very nice on you! Also, the swans appear to be wannabe lenox salt cellars from Taiwan. Although a lot of people use them for salt and pepper, as trinket dishes, as dip holders at parties, or for sugar when you have tea!

That red dress looked lovely! to feel more comfortable maybe some comfy shape wear to smooth out a bit I like shape wear just to feel held together more, but I think it suited you just fine as is! I'm also having the exact new body shape learning curve as well right now it takes a long time to retrain the eyes to be able to grab off the rack and know its your size.

I had my second child 4 months ago. My body has changed a lot due to some pregnancy complications and I am still working on losing weight, strengthening my core, etc. All of my wardrobe fits completely different than it did before and I am going through the same thing in that I'm trying to figure out what I like on my body since it's different than what I am used to. It brings me so much comfort that I am not the only one going through changes, having to figure out what I like on my body and what I don't. I love watching these videos and getting to hear your inner monologue because we sound so similar!

I’m glad you got the pink dress. Love the Abercrombie top - I still love that label and it was an absolute bargain! It’s very old from looking at the label… The cardigan was great - go back for it. The weighted thing on the light blue fringed top is indeed to weigh the neck down so it hangs nicely…

Im so glad you are back and doing better, much blessings and ❤ your way. I went threw a similar situation with loosening the love of my live. It felt very much like a death. Its been very hard this past 1 1/2. You got this. Other thing i was your size and i too can relate to some weight gain, i find myself picking up my original size and no longer can fit in it. Im determined to get back to my original weight. I went up two sizes, cant stand trying things on to hide things i dont want seen. You still look amazing and im so glad you are back.

i am loving the criss cross, i love how it's fitted but that just gives it a corset illusion like a denim corset jacket. and you're right it has a push up effect it made the girls look a little bigger too and just literally compliments your figure.

Yesss the purple cardigan😍 Though I admit I'm biased, that's one of my favourite colours to wear. The Abercombie jacket looked so so soft, and it's cashmere&angora, lovely! I think that particular light blue suits you very well. The cowl neck falls beautifully, that must be a magic button😉 No idea how to style it. The midnight blue dress is so beautiful on you, ✨️goddess of the night✨️ Too bad about the blue jacket that didn't close, it looked so good otherwise. I actually didn't mind the print on the skull shirt. Again, biased bc sparkles🤩 Black leggings, hair up into a faux-hawk, a black sleeveless cardican or vest worn open, and chunky boots or stiletto heels. Punk but polished.

Love Mike Flanagan’s work. Midnight Mass was my favorite. Fall of the House of Usher is awesome. If you’re at all into The Shining (movie or book), check out the movie Doctor Sleep. (And Flanagan is married to Kate Siegel, who is in most of his movies/tv shows).

Tips on having an hourglass figure, get things that are more fitted, or define your waist. You want things to balance, so a lot of poof on the top or bottom can be too much, either balance your poof or go without. I don’t like a lot of detail on my chest as it draws more attention and makes my chest look bigger, up to you though. I also prefer v necks that show a bit of chest as it can seem like you have a giant chest if you wear high necks, v and scoop necks give a lot more balance, but if you want to cover your chest more I’d balance it out on the bottom as well with something a bit more poofy or detailed to give that balance. Being skinny is easier for getting clothes for sure but I feel more comfortable being more curvy and being able to eat and not think about it and just enjoy things again, and I look hot and so do you! It’s just learning what suits your new body type and how to accentuate it, I’ve got really good at knowing what will look great on me now

That store is lovely you seem to find great things there and you definitely got some good pieces especially the Abercrombie jacket!

I was at a vintage thrift store a few years ago and I saw an old woman trying on a BEAUTIFUL fall/winter coat. She left it on the 'unwanted/alreadyworn' second of the pile outside her cabinet. Then she wore it again!!! (While I was praying to the Gods she would just leave it) . It. Was an exclusive line of Louis Vuitton which wouldv'e sold at at LEAST 300€ of profit if I hadn't worn it myselt. Most gorgeous coat Ive ever seen. Its been 3+ years but I cant forget it.

I don’t think it’s because you’ve gained weight I think it’s more to do with the color and the lighting for the pink dress. Mi am super glad you got that blue sparkly dress it’s gorgeous! Idk if it was this video you were asking about perfume? Forgot to comment the day of, but relating to the old magazines and perfume.. I tried Versace Eros femme the other day and it took me back to the days of paper fragrance samples. It heavily reminds me of the beautiful, fresh Cosmopolitan magazine scent ads of the past. Staying power is really nice, too. Go to the store and ask for a spray on your scarf or a bit on your skin. 💕

I totally get being unsure about the way clothes fit when your body is constantly changing - no matter if it's because of weight gain or loss or even just simple bloating. In the past I fell in love with so many different pieces of clothing but decided against getting them because I was unsure if I should wear it with it looking the way it looks on my body, nowadays I try to focus more in how the clothing makes me feel overall. Like yeah, people can see my stomach - sometimes more, sometimes less but if the dress as a whole makes me feel fantastic and I really enjoy the piece then I really try to ignore certain aspects. That being said, the red dress looks absolutely fabulous ❤

That abercrombie top is GORGEOUS! I think you should go back for the purple cardi, it really suits you. Maybe tomorrow go thrifting for some belts you can wear with lots of different things in universal colours such as black, white, red, silver. Belts are a staple for all wardrobes, especially after some weight gain when you want to keep an hour glass figure.

I second belts! With those curves belts will sit at the natural waist on any dress or shirt, no need for belt loops. It will give that extra cinch that pieces not made-for-measure need.

I actually love the Philip Plein shirt! Just my style. I was thinking "buy it!" until you said it looked heinous lol 😆😂 The royal blue dress was my fave on you btw. Don't be put off dresses, because you can buy great spanx style underwear that'll smooth out your waistline! They're not all the un-sexy type either. You can get g-string high-waist ones that look like regular underwear. I wear them with my more fitted clothes. 😊💙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
