Vintage Bakelite radio fix with resin

Resin glue when mixed with sanded down Bakelite from the inside of the radio case helps the glue blend in. The pieces have to be glued back piece by piece, held in place with no gaps. You have to wait until glue is solid (about 8 - 12 hours) before sanding. Where required fill any holes and gaps with more resin. Baby wipes are great to remove unwanted resin from the surface before the 5 minute setting time (if using Araldite Rapid). Be patient.
